Sankara Eye Foundation is a non-profit organization registered in USA that works in partnership with Sankara Eye Care Institutions (SECI), India, towards eradicating curable blindness in India.

It raises funds to support eye care activities including construction of state of the art free eye hospitals and conducting free eye surgeries.

• Build/run eye hospitals all across India and thereby bring curable blindness under control
• Our goal is perform one million free eye surgeries a year

• Conducted an Eye Camp every weekend without missing a single weekend
• Reached out to a population of more than 15 Million people
• Performed FREE eye surgeries every year. The projected numbers are 100,000 FREE eye surgeries a year (in 2008)
• Been acknowledged as one of the largest rural out-reach programs in India
